Sabii Digital partnered with an international AgTech company to analyze their existing sales forecasting process and design a new one. The client needed to streamline their forecasting process to ensure flexibility when expanding their current sales footprint. Our task was to create a new framework that would increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity for future forecasting efforts.

Business Problem
The client's existing forecasting process resulted in a tedious workflow and imprecise data, causing confusion when attempting to predict future forecasts. The current business process also presented limitations that would hinder their ability to quickly visualize growth potential.
The existing framework contained different forecasting methods with varying parameters for different products within the same portfolio. It became clear that the existing portfolio was not fully optimized to its full potential. A new framework was to be created, building upon what already existed.
Proposed Solution
Upon analysis, our team identified that the client’s process contained a number of inefficiencies. They lacked consistent forecasting across their product files, which led to doubts regarding data accuracy. It was not possible to export their data in its current state to other data analysis platforms, and creating data visualizations within and outside the platform was also not feasible.
Our team utilized sales forecasting best practices to redesign our client’s forecasting process within their preferred platform. By creating a new framework for our client, they will be able to expand their forecasting into more products with greater ease.
Our solution was achieved by removing interactive limitations within their forecasting portfolio and enabling connectivity and data visualization through graphs. The newly designed framework utilized real-time data flow between products, allowing for instant forecasting generated with the input of new data. This eliminates delays in new forecast data generation caused by manual copying of data from one source to another.
Additionally, the client will now be able to export their data to other platforms, modernizing their process. We provided them with a ready-to-go forecasting suite, enabling them to forecast efficiently and with clarity according to their needs.
CONCLUSION
Sabii Digital redesigned our client’s forecasting framework and added increased value by enabling their team to visualize data in multiple formats and run analyses on it in a streamlined manner. This success was achieved through intensive research, thoughtful design, rigorous testing, and ongoing collaboration with the client. Collaborating with the client was crucial in understanding their specific processes. Success was achieved when we were able to align our technical vision with the client's inherent needs.
